Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is a holistic treatment which focusses on the upper body, the upper back, neck, shoulders, face and scalp. It is usually performed seated instead of lying down, (or both if the face and head are massaged first, whilst lying on the treatment bed). It can be done through clothing but more usually involves the application of oils with gentle strokes, kneading, circular motions and acupressure to stimulate the muscles and energy points in the upper body to reduce stress, release tension and promote wellbeing. The oil helps to condition the hair and scalp.
